If something feels urgent

Call 999 in a medical emergency. nudge is not a clinical service and we cannot respond to urgent medical questions.

For non-emergency medical advice, call NHS 111 or contact your prescriber directly.

Common questions

I’m not getting my sign-in email.

Check your junk and spam folders first. The sign-in link is sent from noreply@cadencehealth.uk. If it does not arrive within 5 minutes, request a new link from the sign-in screen — only the most recent link works. If the problem persists, email hello@cadencehealth.uk.

Apple Health (or Health Connect on Android) will not connect.

On iPhone, open Settings › Privacy & Security › Health › nudge and turn on the data types you want to share, then return to the app and tap Connect again. On Android, the equivalent path is Settings › Apps › Health Connect. You can review what is synced under Profile › Health Data inside the app.

I’m not getting push notifications.

On iPhone, check that notifications are allowed for nudge in Settings › Notifications › nudge. Then in the app open Profile › Notifications and tap Enable. The button should change to Disable, confirming your device is registered. On Android the equivalent path is Settings › Apps › nudge › Notifications.

How do I contact my prescriber?

If your healthcare provider is connected to nudge, open the Care Team section to send a secure message. nudge does not replace direct contact with your prescriber, GP, or pharmacist for clinical questions.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, open Profile › Account › Close my account and follow the three-step confirmation. A clinical record is retained for 8 years per the NHS Records Management Code of Practice 2021; identifying information is removed within 14 days of your deletion request. If you cannot access the app, email hello@cadencehealth.uk from the address linked to your account and we will process the deletion for you.

What does the AI feature share, and with whom?

The coach and the Support classifier inside the app share your message text (and, for the coach, your first name and treatment context such as medication, dose, recent symptoms, weight) with our AI provider Anthropic (contracting through Anthropic Ireland Limited; processing on Anthropic servers in the United States, under our Data Processing Agreement). Your email address, surname, and date of birth are never shared. Anthropic does not train their models on your data and does not retain messages after replying.
